My Sylhet Tour

I traveled to Sylhet last year, and it will always have a particular place in my heart. I was enthralled with this region's unmatched beauty and charm as soon as I set foot here. Whenever I think about my time there, I find myself longing to return and experience its wonders all over again.

My adventure began with a visit to the beautiful tea gardens of Sylhet, locally known as "Cha Baagan." Here, amidst lush greenery, I witnessed the awe-inspiring sight of women gracefully picking tea leaves that would eventually find their way to teacups across the country. It was a humbling experience to witness firsthand the dedication and hard work that go into producing one of Bangladesh's most beloved beverages.

Next on my list was the breathtaking Ratargul Lake Forest, where nature's beauty knows no bounds. As I glided along the tranquil waters in a boat, I found myself surrounded by towering trees and vibrant foliage, creating a scene straight out of a fairytale. Despite a brief spell of rain, the sight of a majestic rainbow gracing the sky only added to the magical ambiance of the place, leaving me in awe of its beauty.

One of the highlights of my journey was a visit to “Shadapathor”, a destination that truly lives up to its name. Here, the harmonious blend of stone formations, flowing water, and the majestic backdrop of the Assam mountains left me spellbound. It was a moment of pure serenity, where time seemed to stand still as I immersed myself in the natural wonders surrounding me.

Following by jaflong I saw the most interesting thing which was a divider made of simply putting multiple rocks in a line which divides Bangladesh and india ,and at the top of that divider there was a military from Indian army was guarding the border .,And then there was the khashia polli which also amazed me by its way of living , there culture and also their houses . khashia houses were standing on huge pillars for support and only one floor up the pillar and only there I have seen a flat cha bagan .

As the day turned to night, I took to the streets of Sylhet, eager to explore its vibrant culture and culinary delights. From savoring the aromatic flavors of "rongdhonu cha" to devouring in traditional delicacies, every moment was a feast for the senses. The bustling streets came alive with the sounds of laughter and chatter, offering a glimpse into the warmth and hospitality of the local community.

As I say farewell to Sylhet, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unforgettable memories I had created during my time there. Sylhet had a lasting impression on me, from the idyllic beauty of its scenery to the intricate tapestry of its culture. Even though my journey is coming to an end, Sylhet's charm calls me back, giving fresh experiences and revelations every time I go. I will always hold close to my heart the priceless recollections I have of my tour to Sylhet until then.
